Marinated Veggies

1 can French-style green beans
1 can baby lima beans
1 can sweet peas, or peas and carrots
1 can sweet corn
1 thinly sliced carrot, if desired
½ c. sugar
½ c. veggie oil
¾ c. apple cider vinegar
Drain all veggies and put in large bowl. Add sugar, oil and vinegar; stir together. Chill over several hours or overnight. Serve chilled.
Note: Serve these with slotted spoon to drain juices when serving.
