Kenergy awards 20 scholarships

OWENSBORO, Ky. --  At the Kenergy Corp. Annual Meeting on June 8, the co-op awarded twenty $500 college scholarships to members or their children.

The scholarships were doled out in a random drawing at the end of the meeting.

Recipients were:

Lydia Stallings, Oboro; Courtney Wright, Calhoun; Alycia Tomlingson, Henderson; Fred Johnson, Livermore; Jarrod Ratliff, Oboro; Sandra Tyrie, Henderson; Rachel Hagan, Whitesville; Kaleb Noblett, Henderson; Chaz Arnold, Oboro; Brett Allen, Hawesville; Cassie Garvin, Hawesville; Nathan Stiff, Whitesville; David Stubblefield, Slaughters; Bridgett Schrecker, Oboro; John Cavanah, Henderson; Kendall Wedding, Maceo; Megan Jones, Madisonville; Julie Shoulders, Waverly; Emily McCarty, Hawesville; Kim Jarboe, Utica.

Kenergy thanks all students who attended the meeting and applied for a scholarship. The co-op, its members and Board of Directors are proud to contribute to members' education in this way.
