Organization Assistance
CHALLENGE GRANT PROGRAM
Kenergy provides a dollar-for-dollar matching Challenge Grant Program for specific economic development projects. The maximum possible funding is $1,000 per project. Applicants must identify a specific project and submit a Kenergy Challenge Grant application. The project for funding must be located in one of the following counties:
Caldwell, Crittenden, Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, Hopkins, Lyon, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster. All projects are funded on a first-come, first-served basis and emphasis is placed on projects which market local industrial sites. Challenge Grant Application (pdf).
TRADE SHOW AND/OR RECRUITING ASSISTANCE
Kenergy will reimburse up to one-half out-of-pocket expenses for individuals participating in a national trade show and/or recruiting visits. Reimbursement shall be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Maximum participation will be limited to $500 per individual attending a trade show or recruiting visit and shall never exceed a total of $1,000 per trade show or recruiting visit. Trade Show Assistance Application (pdf).
KIED SCHOLARSHIPS
Kenergy offers a tuition-only scholarship for the Kentucky Institute of Economic Development (KIED) to economic development professionals and community leaders. Scholarship Application (pdf).
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ALLIANCE ASSISTANCE
Kenergy provides financial assistance to regional economic development organizations in the following counties: Hancock, Daviess, Ohio, McLean, Henderson, Webster, Hopkins, Union, Crittenden, Lyon and Caldwell. In order to qualify for funding, organizations must submit semi-annual report to Kenergy by July 15th and December 15th of each year. Semi-Annual Report Form (pdf).
