Be sure to enroll in this program before you experience an outage. The texting system updates once daily, so new enrollees are unable to use the program immediately after signing up.
Enrolling before an outage guarantees the system will be available to you should you experience trouble with an outage in the future.
To enroll, text the word KENERGY to 85700.
Your current cell phone number must be associated with your Kenergy account for the system to work properly. If Kenergy does not have your current cell phone number on file, please call 1-800-844-4832 during business hours to speak to a member service representative who can assist you with enrollment.
