Kenergy Scholarship Applications Open Now Through June 30

Kenergy has established an annual scholarship program to assist in financing the higher education of students whose families are cooperative members. In 2026, the cooperative will award three $1,000 scholarships and twenty-four $500 scholarships. Scholarships can be used for tuition, fees, campus housing, textbooks, computers, school supplies and other costs directly related to the recipient’s education. Kenergy Offices Closed May 25th for Memorial Day

All Kenergy offices will be closed Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. To make a payment while our offices are closed, members can drop payments at our office nightly drop boxes, make payments on our SmartHub mobile app, or by accessing your account 24/7.

LIHEAP Spring Subsidy Cooling Component Open

Kentucky’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Spring Subsidy Cooling Component is accepting applications through May 22. Network Maintenance – March 24, 2026

A vendor for Kenergy will be performing network maintenance on Tuesday, March 24th starting at 8:00 a.m. that will affect some Kenergy systems until approximately 1:00 p.m. Members will not be able to utilize our outage map during this timeframe. Pole Inspections to Start in Spring

Alamon, a pole inspection contractor for Kenergy, will be inspecting poles this spring. Each wooden pole Kenergy owns, or is attached to, will be inspected to ensure there are no hazards. Inspectors check for decay, insects, cracks, holes, age, and any damage members may have caused. You may see trucks in your area bearing a ‘Kenergy Contractor’ magnet.
